# Commands & permissions

Commands, default keys and permissions of Cuxial Police.

Cuxial Police is used mostly through the tablet, the quick menu and keys. This page lists the few chat commands, every default key and how access is decided.

## Commands

| Command              | Who                                      | What it does                                                                                                                                       |
| -------------------- | ---------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `/entorno <message>` | Everyone | Sends a citizen report to the police on duty, with the sender's position and street. Limited by `dispatch.entornoCooldown` (30 seconds by default) |
| `/paymultas`         | Everyone, with `payment.commands = true` | Opens the payment screen with the player's unpaid police fines                                                                                     |
| `/payfacturas`       | Everyone, with `payment.commands = true` | Opens the payment screen with the player's unpaid medical bills                                                                                    |
| `/opszonedebug` | Staff | Shows or hides a debug outline of the operation zones |

{% hint style="info" %}
Fines and bills are paid at the payment points: two by default, one for the police at Mission Row and one for EMS at Pillbox Hill. `/paymultas` and `/payfacturas` open the same screen from anywhere and are off by default. Turn them on with `payment.commands = true`, in section `config.payment` (Cobros) of the settings tab.
{% endhint %}

There is no command to open the tablet. It opens with the `cuxial_mdt` item, at a station point of type `mdt`, or from another resource (see [Exports & events](/scripts/police-and-medical/cuxial-police/developers.md#client-events)).

## Keys

Every key can be changed by each player in the FiveM key binding settings. The defaults come from the keys section (`data.keybinds`) and a change there needs a restart of the resource.

## Who can do what

Access is decided in three steps.

1. **Faction.** The player's job must belong to a faction. See `config.jobs` in [Configuration](/scripts/police-and-medical/cuxial-police/configuration.md#jobs-and-general).
2. **Duty.** The quick menu, the dispatch sidebar, the radio codes and the field tools need the player to be on duty.
3. **Grade.** Each tab and action needs a minimum job grade, set in the permissions section.

### Staff

The settings tab, the approval of dismantling requests and `/opszonedebug` need the `admin` permission of your framework, as resolved by `cuxial_bridge`. The player also needs a faction job to open the tablet.

### Grade permissions

Section `data.permissions` of the settings tab. Each entry is the minimum grade for a tab or an action. An action that is missing from the table is denied.

| Group                                                                                                             | Applies to                                                                      |
| ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `tabs`, `ems_tabs`, `fib_tabs`                                                                                    | Which tabs each faction sees                                                    |
| `citizens`, `vehicles`, `reports`, `penalcode`                                                                    | Actions inside those police tabs                                                |
| `agents`, `ems_staff` | Staff management: hire, dismiss, rank, badge, divisions, medals |
| `federal`                                                                                                         | Prison management: view, add a sentence, release                                |
| `cameras`                                                                                                         | Business, vehicle and body cameras                                              |
| `radio`, `central` | Moving a member to another frequency, editing alerts, assigning units, messages |
| `quickmenu`, `ems_quickmenu`                                                                                      | Each action of the quick menu                                                   |
| `ems_patients`, `ems_diseases`, `ems_appointments`, `ems_medrecords`, `ems_pharmacy`, `ems_billing`, `ems_morgue` | Actions inside the EMS tabs                                                     |
| `fib_cases`, `fib_subjects`, `fib_orgs`, `fib_warrants`, `fib_ops`, `fib_devices`                                 | Actions of the federal addon                                                    |

A few defaults worth knowing:

| Permission                               | Default grade |
| ---------------------------------------- | ------------- |
| `tabs.agents` (staff management, police) | `6`           |
| `tabs.cameras`                           | `7`           |
| `citizens.setWanted`                     | `4`           |
| `reports.delete`                         | `7`           |
| `penalcode.edit`                         | `7`           |
| `federal.release`                        | `7`           |
| `ems_pharmacy.dispenseControlled`        | `3`           |
| `fib_warrants.approve`                   | `4`           |
| `fib_orgs.confirm`                       | `3`           |
| `fib_orgs.dismantle`                     | `4`           |

{% hint style="warning" %}
The default grades assume a job with grades up to 7 or 8. If your jobs have fewer grades, lower the values, or some tabs will be out of reach for everyone.
{% endhint %}

### Boss

A member is a boss when the framework marks the grade as boss or when the grade reaches `bossLevel` (`8` by default).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.cuxial.com/scripts/police-and-medical/cuxial-police/commands.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
