The most frequent problems after installing Cuxial Tablet, with the cause and the fix for each one.

The resource does not start

Cause. A dependency is missing or starts later than the tablet. Cuxial Tablet needs OneSync, a framework (QBox, QBCore or ESX), ox_lib, oxmysql and cuxial_bridge 2.17.0 or later.

Fix. Start the dependencies first:

server.cfg

ensure oxmysql
ensure ox_lib

ensure cuxial_tablet

The exact lines for each framework are in Installation.

Buying, claiming or transferring coins fails and the balance always reads 0

Cause. The money account in vip.account (coins by default) does not exist in your framework.

Fix. Create the account in the framework configuration and restart the server, or point vip.account to an account that exists. See Create the coins account.

Item rewards are refunded or arrive as "cannot carry"

Cause. The item name in the catalogue does not exist in your inventory, or the player has no room. A reward that cannot be delivered is refunded; a case drop that does not fit goes to the gifts inbox.

Fix. Use item names that exist in your inventory. From the admin panel, the item picker only offers items your inventory knows.

Items in the shop show no image

Cause. The item has no image in the catalogue and the inventory has no image for that item name, or the inventory is not one Cuxial Bridge recognises.

Fix. Set image on the item from the admin panel with a full URL or a path inside the inventory's web/images folder, or add the image to your inventory. Without image, the tablet uses nui://<inventory>/web/images/<item>.webp.

/tabletadmin answers that I have no access

Cause. You do not hold the permission in admin.permission (admin by default). On QBox and QBCore it is a framework permission granted in server.cfg; on ESX your group must be admin or superadmin.

Fix. Grant the permission and reconnect. See Permissions.

The tablet does not open

Cause. One of these:

• tablet.enabled is false.
• The player is dead, swimming, driving or cuffed and tablet.canOpen forbids it.
• The character is not loaded yet.
• The player changed the key in the GTA settings.

Fix. Check tablet.enabled and tablet.canOpen from the admin panel, and the key in the GTA key settings, under FiveM.

The cursor appears but the tablet does not

Cause. The interface is not loading. The folder web/dist is missing or incomplete, usually after a partial upload.

Fix. Copy the resource again from the original package and restart the server.

I changed the tablet key in the config but the old one still works

Cause. tablet.keybind only sets the default. Once a player has joined, FiveM remembers their binding. The same applies to live.camera.stopKey.

Fix. Each player changes it in the GTA key settings, under FiveM. New players get the new default.

The interface is in the wrong language

Cause. The tablet follows the ox:locale convar.

Fix. Set it before the resource starts. en and es are included:

server.cfg

setr ox:locale "en"

I edited shared/config.lua or a file in data/ and nothing changed

Cause. Those files are only the factory values. The live values are stored in the database the first time the resource starts, and from then on they are edited from the admin panel.

Fix. Make the change from /tabletadmin. To go back to the file's values, use Factory on that section in the panel. Only the options under Static options are read from the file on every start.

Nobody can write news or go live

Cause. The player's job is not in news.publisherJobs or live.broadcasterJobs, or news.enabled / live.enabled is false.

Fix. Add the job names from the admin panel, in the News and Live sections. Staff can always publish and broadcast.

Live streams look blurry or stutter with many viewers

Cause. No relay is configured, so the video goes through the game server at reduced quality and the server's upload grows with each viewer.

Fix. Configure the relay convars in server.cfg. See Installation. The address must start with ws:// or wss:// and the key must be 64 lowercase hexadecimal characters.

The vehicles or properties list of the profile is empty

Cause. The adapters in hooks/server/vehicles.lua and hooks/server/properties.lua read qbx_vehicles and nolag_properties. Without them, or on another framework, the lists are empty.

Fix. Edit those files to read your own garage and housing resources, keeping the same return shape. See Hooks.

Completed jobs give no pass XP

Cause. The tablet only hears about completed jobs from cuxial_jobs or from the EmitJobCompleted export.

Fix. Call exports.cuxial_tablet:EmitJobCompleted(src, info) from your job resource when a job ends. See Exports & events.

The worked hours of the profile read 0

Cause. The adapter in hooks/server/playtime.lua reads the player_jobs_activity table, which your server does not have.

Fix. Edit Hooks.GetWorkedHours in that file to read your own source.

A code cannot be redeemed

Cause. One of these:

• The code has reached its number of uses or its expiry date, or was disabled from the panel.
• The character already redeemed it; a code is redeemed once per character.
• The player tried more than vip.codes.redeemPerHour times in one hour.

Fix. Check the code in the Operations tab of the admin panel, where its uses and redeems are listed.

A transfer is refused

Cause. The amount is under vip.wallet.transfer.min, the sender has reached vip.wallet.transfer.maxPerDay today, the recipient is offline, or vip.wallet.transfer.enabled is false.

Fix. Adjust the limits from the admin panel, in the VIP section.

The custom crosshair is not drawn

Cause. crosshair.enabled is false, the player has not turned their crosshair on in the Crosshair page, or they are not aiming and Always show is off.

Fix. Turn the crosshair on from the page. The staff can check a player's profile from the Operations tab.

Players see no hitmarker or damage numbers

Cause. crosshair.allowHitmarker or crosshair.allowDamageNumbers is false, which turns them off for everyone regardless of their own settings.

Fix. Enable them from the admin panel, in the Crosshair section.

The console prints every query

Cause. debug is true in shared/config.lua or the cuxial_tablet_debug convar is 1.

Fix. Set debug = false and remove the convar, then restart the resource.
