# Installation

Install Cuxial Domino step by step: dependencies, start order, staff permission and the first table.

Cuxial Domino needs no SQL import and no inventory items. It creates its own database tables on first start, and the domino tables are placed in game.

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

## Check the dependencies

These resources must be installed and working before you add the script:

* `ox_lib`
* `oxmysql`
* `cuxial_bridge`, with one of the supported frameworks: QBox, QBCore or ESX
* `sleepless_interact`

{% hint style="warning" %}
Without `sleepless_interact` the resource does not start. It provides the "Sit down" interaction on the chairs.
{% endhint %}
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

## Copy the resource

Place the `cuxial_domino` folder inside your `resources` directory. Keep the folder name as it is.

The table and tile models come inside the resource, in its `stream` folder. There is nothing else to install.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

## Set the language

Optional. English and Spanish are included.

{% code title="server.cfg" %}

```cfg
setr ox:locale "en"
```

{% endcode %}
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

## Start the resource

Start it after its dependencies and after your framework:

{% code title="server.cfg" %}

```cfg
ensure ox_lib
ensure oxmysql
# your framework here (qbx_core, qb-core or es_extended)
ensure cuxial_bridge
ensure sleepless_interact
ensure cuxial_domino
```

{% endcode %}

No SQL to run. The resource creates `cuxial_domino_tables` and `cuxial_domino_pots` when it starts.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

## Give staff the permission

The admin tablet opens with `/domino_admin`. The command is restricted: a player needs the ACE `command.domino_admin`. When the resource starts, it is granted to `group.admin`, the default of `admin.ace`. You can also grant it yourself:

{% code title="server.cfg" %}

```cfg
add_ace group.admin command.domino_admin allow
```

{% endcode %}

{% hint style="info" %}
Servers that already grant every command to their admin group with `add_ace group.admin command allow` do not need this line.
{% endhint %}

More detail in [Commands & permissions](/scripts/leisure/cuxial-domino/commands.md).
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

## Check that it works

1. Join the server and run `/domino_admin`. The tablet opens.
2. In the **Create** tab choose a style, the number of players and the game type, then create the table. It appears in front of you.
3. Walk up to a chair and use the "Sit down" interaction. After the sit animation the table menu opens.
4. On a 1 player table, press **Start Game**. The AI joins and the round begins.
5. Restart the resource. The table is still there.
   {% endstep %}
   {% endstepper %}

Next: adjust the rules and bets in [Configuration](/scripts/leisure/cuxial-domino/configuration.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.cuxial.com/scripts/leisure/cuxial-domino/installation.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
