Troubleshooting

Common Cuxial Supply problems, with their cause and fix.

The most frequent problems after installing Cuxial Supply, with the cause and the fix for each one.

Installation

The resource does not start

Cause. A dependency is missing or starts later than the job. Cuxial Supply needs OneSync, ox_lib, oxmysql, cuxial_bridge, cuxial_jobs and sleepless_interact.

Fix. Enable OneSync and start the dependencies first:

server.cfg
cfg
ensure ox_lib
ensure oxmysql
ensure cuxial_bridge
ensure sleepless_interact
ensure cuxial_banking
ensure cuxial_jobs
ensure cuxial_supermarket_assets
ensure cuxial_supply
The console shows an error reading a module of cuxial_jobs

Cause. cuxial_jobs is not started, was renamed, or is an incomplete copy. The job loads its shared code from that folder.

Fix. Copy cuxial_jobs again from the package, keep the folder name, and start it before cuxial_supply.

A red line in the console says the job asks for another version of the library

Cause. The cuxial_jobs folder on the server is older or newer than the one this job was built for. This happens when several Cuxial jobs are installed and one of them overwrote the library.

Fix. Keep the most recent cuxial_jobs of all your packages and update the jobs that ask for an older one.

The supermarket building is missing, flickers or has holes

Cause. cuxial_supermarket_assets is not started, was installed without restarting the server, or another MLO of the same Paleto Bay supermarket is running at the same time.

Fix. Stop the other supermarket map, start cuxial_supermarket_assets before cuxial_supply, restart the server and reconnect.

"Your supplier profile is not ready yet" or "The job is still starting"

Cause. The data could not be loaded from the database. Either oxmysql has no connection, or the tables could not be created on start. Right after a restart, the job also needs a few seconds to load.

Fix. Check the oxmysql connection and its errors in the console, then restart cuxial_supply. The cuxial_jobs_* and cuxial_supply_* tables must exist after the start.

I changed a file in data/ and nothing changed in game

Cause. That entry was saved from /supplyadmin. What is saved in the editor is stored in the database and wins over the files.

Fix. Make the change in the editor, or restore the entry there so the file value is used again.

Production job

The NPC or its blip does not appear

Cause. The NPC only exists near its position, and npc.coords may point to a place that does not fit your map. The blip is hidden with npc.blip.enabled = false.

Fix. Check npc.coords and npc.blip in shared/config.lua, or move the NPC from the Lobby section of the editor.

There are no interaction options on the NPC, the van or the shelves

Cause. sleepless_interact is not running, or it started after the job.

Fix. Start sleepless_interact before cuxial_supply and restart the job.

"You can't do this job"

Cause. The job option of the config lists framework jobs and the player, or one crew member, has none of them.

Fix. Give the player one of those jobs, add theirs to the list, or set job = 'all'.

"You do not have enough cash for the van deposit"

Cause. The crew owner pays the deposit of the van from the account in account when the run starts.

Fix. Carry the amount of the deposit, lower deposit in data/vehicles.lua or in the Vehicles section of the editor, or set account = 'bank'.

"The van spawn is blocked" or "The van could not be spawned"

Cause. There is a vehicle within van.spawnFreeRadius metres of the spawn, or the server did not create the van in time.

Fix. Clear the area or add more spawns in npc.vanSpawns or the Lobby section of the editor. On a loaded server, raise van.spawnTimeoutMs.

The van is locked or the crew has no keys

Cause. Keys are only given through cuxial_garages. Without that resource, or with van.keys = false, the job hands out no keys.

Fix. Start cuxial_garages before the job and keep van.keys = true. If you use another key system, exempt the plates that start with the van.plate prefix in that system.

The destination selector only shows the supermarket

Cause. The wholesale markets come disabled.

Fix. Open /supplyadmin, go to the wholesale markets and turn on the ones you want, or set enabled = true in data/centrals.lua. Check their terminal, dock and pallet positions before turning them on.

Supermarket

"The supermarket cannot take payments right now"

Cause. cuxial_banking is not running, or the business account of the store's job does not exist. The tills and the wholesale point pay into that account.

Fix. Start cuxial_banking before cuxial_supply. Make sure the supermarket job exists in your framework, then restart cuxial_banking so it creates the business account. If you changed society in data/stores.lua, it must match a job name.

"Card payments are not available"

Cause. Card payments go through cuxial_banking, which is not running.

Fix. Start cuxial_banking, or remove 'card' from pay in the store so the option is not offered.

The shelves are empty

Cause. A new store starts without stock. Products reach it through deliveries and restocking. If the data/seed/ folder was deleted before the first start, the store has no shelf slots at all.

Fix. Use /supplyrestock to fill it once, then let the crews deliver and the stockers restock. If the slots are missing, copy data/seed/ again from the package and restart the resource.

"Your job position does not allow this here" or "You have to be on duty"

Cause. The player does not have the store's job, has a grade below the one the action needs, or is off duty.

Fix. Check the grades in Commands & permissions, put the player on duty through your framework, or set store.duty = false.

"Grab a basket at the entrance"

Cause. With store.basket.required = true, a basket from the rack is needed to take products.

Fix. Take a basket from the rack at the entrance, or set store.basket.required = false.

"Staff are on duty: go to a staffed till"

Cause. A cashier on duty is inside the store, so customers pay at a staffed till.

Fix. Pay at a staffed till, or set store.till.selfWhenStaffed = true to keep the self-checkouts open.

A product cannot be bought or the customer receives nothing

Cause. The product's item does not exist in your inventory, or the player has no room for it. The editor shows "The item ... does not exist in the inventory" on that product.

Fix. Add the item to your inventory (see Installation) or change item of the product to one you have.

The wholesale point does not appear

Cause. Only the jobs in trade.wholesale, with at least their grade, see it. It is also hidden with store.wholesale.enabled = false.

Fix. Add the job to trade.wholesale in the config or in the Economy section of the editor.

Staff and others

The staff commands or the panel say you have no permission

Cause. The player is not in the ACE group of the command, or does not hold the framework permission in admin.permission.

Fix. See Commands & permissions.

/supplyfast does nothing

Cause. The command only works with debug on, and debug is read when the resource starts.

Fix. Set debug = true in the config, or setr cuxial_supply_debug 1 above the ensure line, and restart the job. Turn it off again on a live server.

The Discord log receives nothing

Cause. The webhook convar is empty, has another name, or was set after the resource started.

Fix. Set it with set above the ensure line, with the name in logs.convar, and restart the job:

server.cfg
cfg
set cuxial_supply_webhook "https://discord.com/api/webhooks/..."
The panel does not open or stays blank

Cause. The interface files are missing or incomplete. The interface comes already built inside web/dist.

Fix. Copy the cuxial_supply folder again from the package, keeping your shared/config.lua and data/ files.

The texts are in the wrong language

Cause. The job follows the language of ox_lib.

Fix. Set setr ox:locale "en" or "es" in server.cfg. The texts are in locales/en.json and locales/es.json and can be edited.
