# Commands & permissions

Commands, keys and permissions of Cuxial Medical for staff, EMS and players.

Cuxial Medical has four staff commands, two EMS commands and the command that opens the admin panel. Every name can be changed in `commands` of `shared/config.lua`.

## Commands

| Command         | Who                           | What it does                                                                                                                              |
| --------------- | ----------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `/medadmin`     | Staff with `admin.permission` | Opens the admin panel.                                                                                                                    |
| `/revive [id]` | ACE group `group.mod` | Revives the player with a get-up animation and resets hunger, thirst and stress. Without `id`, yourself. |
| `/heal [id]` | ACE group `group.mod` | Restores full health, clears every injury and resets hunger, thirst and stress. A downed player is revived first. Without `id`, yourself. |
| `/kill [id]` | ACE group `group.mod` | Downs the player. On a player who is already downed, moves them to the next phase. Without `id`, yourself. |
| `/stretcher` | EMS on duty | Places a stretcher, picks up the one within 3 metres, or drops the one being carried. |
| `/delstretcher` | EMS on duty                   | Removes the stretcher within 5 metres.                                                                                                    |
| `/mdstretcher`  | ACE group `group.mod`         | Removes every stretcher on the server.                                                                                                    |

{% hint style="info" %}
`[id]` is the server id of the player and is optional. The heal button of txAdmin is also supported: it heals the player, or revives them if they are downed.
{% endhint %}

## Keys

Defaults from `death.keys`. Each player can rebind them in the GTA settings, under key bindings for FiveM.

| Key                       | When                                   | What it does                                          |
| ------------------------- | -------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------- |
| <kbd>G</kbd> | Downed | Calls the EMS. Once per death, not in the last phase. |
| <kbd>E</kbd> (hold) | Downed, in a phase that allows respawn | Respawns at the hospital. |
| Right mouse button (hold) | Downed | Zooms the camera. |
| <kbd>W</kbd> <kbd>S</kbd> | Last stand                             | Crawls forwards or backwards.                         |
| <kbd>A</kbd> <kbd>D</kbd> | Last stand                             | Turns.                                                |
| <kbd>Space</kbd>          | Last stand                             | Flips around.                                         |
| <kbd>E</kbd>              | Lying on a hospital bed                | Gets up.                                              |
| <kbd>X</kbd>              | Carrying a stretcher                   | Drops it.                                             |
| <kbd>E</kbd> | Carrying a stretcher | Loads it into the nearest compatible vehicle. |
| <kbd>X</kbd>              | Lying on a stretcher                   | Gets up.                                              |

The last stand keys are fixed. While downed, the player keeps the camera, the chat key and push-to-talk.

## Permissions

### Admin panel

`/medadmin` asks your framework whether the player has the permission in `admin.permission` (`'admin'` by default). On ESX that means the groups `admin` and `superadmin`.

### Staff commands

`/revive`, `/heal`, `/kill` and `/mdstretcher` use the `restricted` value of each command:

| `restricted`                        | Who can use the command          |
| ----------------------------------- | -------------------------------- |
| An ACE group, such as `'group.mod'` | Players in that group. |
| `false`                             | Players with `admin.permission`. |

To add a player to the default group:

{% code title="server.cfg" %}

```cfg
add_principal identifier.license:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx group.mod
```

{% endcode %}

### EMS

| Feature                                            | Requirement                                         |
| -------------------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------- |
| Medical items, medical bag, stretcher | A job listed in `jobs`, on duty |
| Receiving distress calls | A job listed in `jobs`, on duty |
| Lying on a hospital bed, check-in at the reception | Any player |
| Finisher                                           | Any player holding a weapon from `finisher.weapons` |
| Painkillers and self-use bandage | Any player, when the extra is enabled |

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.cuxial.com/scripts/police-and-medical/cuxial-medical/commands.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
